April 2024 brought the Calisthenics Cup to FIBO, the international trade show for fitness, health and wellness in Cologne. The competition ran in freestyle and endurance calisthenics and drew athletes and spectators from the street workout community across the world.
Winners
Radoslav Radev took the men’s freestyle title with power moves and clean static holds. Yair Drory from Israel finished second, Dobrin Dobrev from Bulgaria third.
Alisia Persa won the women’s freestyle with fluid combinations and solid execution. Savina Gabriella from Brazil placed second, Karolina Viteková from Slovakia third.
In endurance, Sergio di Pasquale won on stamina and pacing. Jaime Jumper from Spain was runner-up and Florian Marrec from France took third.
On the floor
The competition ran as head-to-head battles in both disciplines. Alongside it, Chris Heria, Browney and Arjen — the guy in the blue shirt — ran interactive sessions with the crowd.
The full battles are on the Calisthenics Battles YouTube channel. We also put the endurance routines of every round into their own article, so you can try them yourself.
Sponsors
Thanks to the sponsors of the 2024 edition: GORNATION for the calisthenics equipment used across the competition, Barzflex for the calisthenics park setup on the floor, Chiefs for protein bars, and Reign for drinks.
